Accounts Payable Processor I - Entry level position.
Job duties include: Audit and file assigned accounts payable check back up. Process payments and merchandise returns. Communicate with store personnel and vendors. Must be able to write simple instructions and memos, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, have math aptitude, 10 key by touch, and typing skills. Basic understanding of Personal Computer and Microsoft Windows a plus.

Collections - Financial Services Dept.
Analyzes paying habits of customers who are delinquent in payment of bills.
Job duties include: Reviews files to evaluate customer records and makes credit/collection recommendations. Confers with representatives of credit associations and other businesses. Interviews customers to investigate complaints, verify accuracy of charges, or to correct errors in accounts effectively and with courtesy. Education: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or combination

Cashier - Operate cash register to itemize and total customer's purchases in retail store.
Job duties include: Greet and direct customers to merchandise. Collect cash, checks, or charge payment from customer and make change for cash transactions.

Counter Sales - Sell merchandise by answering questions concerning product availability, price, use and application to retail customers.
Job duties include: Assist retail customers by suggesting and/or recommending appropriate product/merchandise for customer project. Qualify customer needs by asking appropriate questions. Keep current on all products available as well as sale items. Conduct price quotes or estimates on special order products and volume quantities.

Department Manager - Coordinate activities in department, set up of ads, merchandise product and monitor product sales and inventory.
Job duties include: Order merchandise, maintain proper stock levels, set and maintain min/max levels, monitor SKU activity report and recommend additions or deletions of merchandise mix. Assist customers with merchandise needs and recommend appropriately. Plan department layout in accordance with Corporate plan. Maintain department housekeeping standards and assure signing, bin tags, end caps and flats are presentable.

Hardware Coordinator - Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities of establishment.
Job duties include: Assists customers as needed. Ordering of stock merchandise either through direct store shipments, pool orders through Central Warehouse or inter-store stock transfers. Distributes all paperwork to Branch Hardware Manager, Department Managers, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable. Monitors and files all purchase orders, merchandise returns, sales advisors, price changes, interim adjustments, waste and theft adjustments and stock transfers. Coordinates with receiving department the notify customers of special order arrivals. Runs stock movement reports as directed by Merchandise Manager. Assist with input or pricing at inventory time. Operate typewriter, calculator, printers and computer terminal to input and retrieve data. Meet all month end deadlines.

Office Coordinator - Compiles and maintains records of business transactions and office activities, receives cash from customers or employees in payment for goods or services.
Job duties include:  Assist customers. Maintain proper branch supply and form levels. Make change, cash checks and issue receipts or tickets to customers. Balance daily cash sales and complete all necessary associated documentation. Reads and records totals shown on cash register tape and verifies against cash on hand. Invoices charge sale and inter-branch sales transactions daily. Record accounts receivable and deposit. Order the proper amount of change for daily usage. Process and account for petty cash fund. Process Courtesy Card application for Commercial and General Contractors. Process credit applications as directed. Distribute inter-office mail and send mail to appropriate departments. Meet all month end deadlines.

Stocker - Inventory, store, price and restock merchandise displays in retail store.
Job duties include: Stock merchandise on shelves per merchandising plan. Assist customers in product location and availability. Answer customer calls for assistance. Respond to price/SKU/UPC checks as needed.

Supplies Buyer - Compiles information and records to prepare purchase orders for procurement of material.
Job duties include: Assist customers. Verifies nomenclature and specifications of purchase receipt. Searches inventory records or warehouse to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity. Maintain proper stock levels by setting and maintaining Min/Max, use of excess stock notifiers, check missed sales report daily, insure merchandise returns are done in a timely manner, use SKU activity report on sale items as well as regular priced items to assist in monitoring movement, provide feedback to Corporate Merchandisers and Hardware Managers on needs, ideas and input. Oversee placing of all special orders for customers. Maintain signing and bin label standards throughout store. Insure ad's are set on time and product levels are adequate. Computes total cost of items purchased. Compares prices, specifications and delivery dates. Verifies bills from suppliers with bids and purchase orders are approved for payment. Assists accounts payable in prompt payment of accounts.

Telephone Operator - Operates the private branch exchange (PBX) switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing and interoffice calls.
Job duties include: Answer, screen and route outside calls. Supply information to callers and record messages. Monitor employee breaks and lunches. Operate the paging system to relay in-house announcements or to call individuals to the phone. Assist as back-up cashier when requested by managers. Observe activities in the store as a security measure. Perform clerical duties such as filing, time card organization, page change distribution, check/match charge, cash and credit transactions.  

Classic Collections: Plumbing/Hardware Inside Sales - Must have plumbing and/or hardware experience, excellent customer service, excellent selling skills and organizational skills. Merchandise is sold on a special order basis and the salesperson handles each transaction from start to finish. Must be a self motivator, a team player, punctual and reliable.

Classic Collections: Kitchen and Bath Designer - Must have kitchen cabinet sales experience and a working knowledge of 20/20 Design software. Excellent customer service skills, a strong commitment to assist others, and enjoy working within a team concept required. Our Classic Collections Showroom provides a beautiful work environment, located on the third floor of our Miramar location. 

Contractor Sales - Sell merchandise by answering questions on product availability, price use, and application to contractor customers.
Job duties include: Assist contractors by selling appropriate product/merchandise for job. Keep current on product availability, price and application. Provide information on special order products.

Counter Sales - Sell merchandise by answering questions concerning product availability, price, use and application to retail customers.

Custom Homes/Inside Sales - Selling lumber, panel goods, hardware and all associated building materials to framers, builders and contractors. A point person for these professionals to contact to handle all aspects of their job from start to finish. Must also be familiar with blueprints, door and windows schedules, trusses, Engineered Wood Products, special milling, etc. Will coordinate and sell the entire building materials package to the customer.
Job duties include: Must have a strong knowledge of lumber and panel market prices. Strong communication and customer skills. Possess a strong lumber/panel and building material background. Possess an in depth working knowledge of Dixieline's overall operations, paper flow, product lines and staff. Work with estimating team to ensure staff has the appropriate data to produce an accurate quote. Work with buyers to get current and accurate pricing. Review, correct and prep lumber lists. Responsible for job preparation, coordination and follow-up.

Outside Lumber Sales Rep - Sell lumber, panel products and all associated building materials to general contractors, framers, builders and homeowners.
Job duties include: Soliciting business by cold calling, performing research and following up on leads throughout an assigned territory. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to read and understand blue prints and do take-offs. Competitive wages, excellent benefit program and an outstanding work environment. Outside Millwork Sales Rep - Sell millwork products to contractors, home builders, or individuals at the sales office, store, showroom or customer's place of business.
Job duties include: Soliciting business by cold calling, performing research and following up on leads throughout an assigned territory. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to read and understand blue prints and do take-offs. Competitive wages, excellent benefit program and an outstanding work environment. Truss Designer/Sales - Applicant must have solid background and thorough understanding of truss manufacturing with the ability to perform truss takeoffs. Strong organizational and customer service skills necessary. Knowledge of Truswal or similar computer engineering programs preferred.
